What is Medical Evangelism

Numbers 21:9 "So Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. And if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live."

John 3:14-15 "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,  that whoever believes in him may have eternal life."

Medical evangelism seeks to follow Christ's example of loving others: body and soul. The practice of medical evangelism can be summed up in our motto, Preaching Grace, Practicing Mercy.

Grace, the gift of undeserved favor, is provided by God alone. The grace of God is most perfectly shown in the gift of salvation. We are called to proclaim this message of grace.

Mercy, the relief of distress, is provided by God but can also be practiced by his saints. Jesus practiced mercy in healing the sick, and we seek to follow his example.
